Thread: Problem with maps 2024.Q2 - member's clumsiness

If you downloaded maps in archive, make sure that you unpacked archive with latest WinRAR, 7-Zip or Total Commander program, never with Windows or WinZIP.
Also, if downloaded as torrent, re-download and then try them again.

There were already reported problems with maps when using incorrect unpackers, solved when using latest WinRAR.

Of course You were right about global.cfg, replaced it for 823827 but no difference.
For now back to maps 2023 Q4....everything works fine.
When I have time I will re-install Nextgen, see what happens.

It makes no difference witch route, 2 km or 150 km, it freezes.
This weekend I have time to re-install....we will see.

Why do you avoid posting an example route?

My friend had visual problems with the new maps. Some strange "refraction" of alerts
After deleting the save folder (and initial setting again), all is ok

The problem occurs with the Israel version, it is not present in Pal, e.g

I tried several routes, within the Netherlands and in the mentioned countries, not a single problem with the simulation

I even tested with "old" Israel, longer route

I will close (later) this topic as clumsiness and stubborn of the member (not the first time ... )
I'll leave it to serve as an example

Renamed? Map folder? I move out from base folder whole content folder and put new one with new content.

Not rename - move them out! Move whole content folder, make new. Clear cache and delete save after that
