    Default firmware GARMIN ZÜMO

    Hello
    Someone knows a page where you modify the firmware of the Garmin Zumo?.

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] doesn't answered and I have the ZUMO broken

    There must be a page in the world where they know to change the firmware.

    I found this file [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and I have the latest firmware GCD Zumo 550. I can reinstall and avoid sending it to your service center

    Follow step by step PouchX advices in post 3 on Garniak. Use the posted cure

    At point 7 Erase your GUPDATE.GCD and all the POIs
    After following the whole procedure till point 15 your Zumo should boot normally, then , you can replace GUPDATE.GCD with latest firmware one

    Same thing happens again, stays in the home screen. loader loading ... and does not advance, nor enter mass storage mode

    I had Firmware 4.90

    @ esfranky

    Hope I have understood the problem correctly. You tried PouchX cure firmware but still your zumo freezes on the start up screen. Am I right? If so check this topic and especially the last comment:

    I have wrote a few more string which are disabling reading from the memory. They are making better cures than those of PouchX.

    Hope they help.

    I see no Zumo in Pc, mass storage does not work
