Hi friends,
may you look at this HEX file?
I dont know, how to identify the correct offset, resp. start of the ID.
Thanks a lot

5th byte is at address 00000004(h). That's since the address counting starts at 0.
At address 00000004(h) you find the value 32(h).
Then look at byte 32(h) + 9(h) = byte 3b(h) or 50(d) found at address 32(h) + 8(h) = 0000003a(h). Byte 1 at address 0, byte 2 at address 1 etc.
0000003a(h): 05Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
00000039(h): a4
FID = 5a4(h) = 1444(d)
0000003b(h): 15
PID = 15(h) = 21(d)
0000003c(h): 00
RgnID = 0(h) = 0(d)
0000003d(h): 00
VenID = 0(h) = 0(d)
I have sent you a PM with a slightly different method. Same results.
Hello! Can you, please, tell me is there any way to find FID and PID for locked .gpi (made with GPI creator)? Thank you!
Catymag, the "******-forum.it" has GpiParser utility by FireFox 58 that is parses GPI file and retrieves FID, PID, etc. So, you can get FID quicker and easier without that tricky analysis of HEX

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Both programs work great for me. It was very kind of FireFox58 to update his program twice to remove the bugs.
