Hi,
I have what I think is Garmin Friluftskartan Prime on a SD card: gmapsupp.img.
I want to view it in Windows. I have no GPS unit. I managed to install MapSource. Perhaps some other software does the job better? Suggestions?
How do I do it? I have tired to read tutorials and such, but...
If I get help I'll share the map!
Thanks, any hint on how to view in BaseCamp? The program shows that it identifies the SD card but that's about it...
On the map in BaseCamp there is a square with a blue border zoom in the square and you will see the map

I find no blue border, I thought I saw one initially, but it is gone, I am not sure it was ther ever though. I reinstalled BaseCamp, but the ony thing I see is the global map.
have you put the img file in a folder named Garmin on the SD card
Yes, it is a SD card used in an Garmin Astro. I was able to select 9G and so on in GPSMapEditII, but I don't thik it showed the borders of the properties, that's what I am really interested in.
It has \Garmin\gmapsupp.img
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Why don't you upload it to i.e. Zippyshare, it is easier to guide you if we have access to the img file.
I'll try that in the morning.
