Ciao guys,
just to close this discussion: at the end it was a bad GPI file with custom POI. Removed it, solved the issue. Strange thing is that the same GPI on a ZUMO 660 is not giving any issue... Anyway, my 1240 is back on track. Interesting for me is the positive effect of the format: faster booting time and faster connection time to a PC. Never read something like this on this forum so maybe something to remember.
