    Default Android slightly confused..

OK thought I'd post this.. I've followed various steps on here and finally have done the folowing

Installed the europe premium version of co-pilot.
downloaded a map and installed it..
at this point the software appears to work just fine.. played with it a bit and it found my home address which is a tiny practically unmarked lane in rural france so pretty good.. allowed me to look up and add other places as well.. the "my route" bit in the settings isn't highlighted but unsure whether this is because I'm inside with no gps signal or because I haven't actually started any route guidance..

so question at this point is why not stop here and just use the premium version?

OK so anyway I assumed there must be a valid reason to follow the rest of the instructions so I tried and tried to get the copilot gps from here to get past the "unable to verify your purchase " error with no luck.. so I boot up the units browser and go to play store where it tells me I have the co-pilot premium europe installed (which makes sense)and allows me to download the gps plan & explore version as required. so I install this and bingo it transfers the licence details . so I again follow the instructions from here and uninstall the premuim app and delete the .com thingy for it as well..
so while I'm waiting for the full europe maps to download again I'm looking at the co-pilot website which shows a comparison of the features of premium vs gps and it seems the gps version lacks voice guidance, turn by turn guidance,3D map views, detours, safety cameras, speed limit alerts and the lane indicator arrows and real signposts thing.. so why is it necessary to use the gps and not the premium app? I presume there is one, just wondered what it is.. and will I have these options having first installed the premium version?
their website/playstore pages are confusing to say the least anyway. quotes the price of EU premium as €44.90 but once I open the page it wants €29.95 for the europe maps??? if I install the gps version on it's own it wants 14.95 to change the 14 day trial to lifetime .. add these together and you get the €44.90.. so erm well confused to say the least, and actually more confused by the real versions/info/downloads than the ripped stuff..

sorry this was so long.. if someone could share some general info just to clear the fog a bit..

OK I think I understand.. the license transfer from the premium version activates all the unlimited options in the gps version. Except for the live traffic info.. at least I don't think that is activated.. OK well I have my full europe and UK maps and looks like it works.. now I just have to learn how to use it .. cool. thanks to anyone who pointed me in the right direction.
