Nuvi 1310(T) splashscreen
I have selected a home made splashscreen for my nuvi. When I switch nuvi on the splash screen only shows for a second or two then I have to enter code to carry on.
Question: is there a way of making splashscreen appear for longer than 1 or 2 seconds.

Hi aekhong
I made the picture myself (480x272) and dropped it into the jpeg folder on nuvi via laptop. Then when I switched nuvi on I went to picture viewer, highlighted the picture and put tick in check box to use on startup.

On a related question, I put in the Chinese logo splash screen and when I ran the diagnostic- it says FAILED. Is there anyway to restore the previous logo file?

You can use GIR Editor to replace chinese Garmin logo with original one.

You can add logo.bin that get from nuvi CHN1355. Originally Posted by cockrel

You will get Chinese Garmin logo and you can change Garmin logo to other pic by GIR Editor

Thanks for the tip. I have looked under the GCDUPDATE files and there is no logo.bin to extract. Is there a particular US version for the 2X5 series that contains the logo.bin?
Or can I extract it from another Garmin firmware? Or is the CHN1355 without the chinese words?
