Mapsource changes lamguage after downloading a map

Hope I am posting in the right place.
It happened that after downloading the Topo Slovakja cyclo and standard maps from Garmin maps section and correctly installed in Mapsource (patched), I found that language in MS changed from italian to english. I solved the problem eventually first removing the maps and replacing all the language.dll files (also downloaded here) in MS patched folder.
When I installed the maps I found an older MS version (6.15.3) installed in the hard drive with no italian lang file. May be is this the problem?
How to avoid this problem of MS installation in next maps downloading? Thanks

usually mapsource uses the system language, if yourlang.dll is not present it uses by default english, probably Cyclo map installer contained an old MS version installer too, next time uncompress the map installer and check and run just the map installer.
You can uninstall that old MS version in your control panel / uninstall programs option.
You can also rename italian language dll to english and have the italian MS interface in another language system os.

yes, you're right. Cyclo map contained the 6.15.7 version whilst I am running the 6.16.3
Although this older version is still in the hard drive it is not shown in the control panel to unistall. There is only the 6.16.3 version.
I read the thread you linked and understood that if I had run the installer setup_ENU which was in the Cyclo folder I wouldn't had the problem. Correct?
