Reply With QuoteHmm, that's really weird. NAVCO is listed under the Philippines distributor list of Garmin in their website. I emailed them and they told me tha, and t they have the 3760, 1360, and 1200. They even said that the 3760 has Philippines preloaded maps.
There's already a 2012 City Navigator right? Nothing for Philippines?

I guess the 3760 what was mentioned is a US model, neither Garmin TW, Thailand or Singapore list it.
Next problem is the map, so far the only device which is listed as compatible with Garmin City Navigator Philippines NT 2011.10 is the 1360 PH, and its possible that u are then not eligble for MapUpdates. I would ask the dealer about this

Nope, Asia is releasing the maps according to Year and Quarter, so the 2011.10 is really released 2011 in the first quarter.

Is there even a legit Garmin Philippines website? When I type
firefox shows that it doesn't have valid certificates similar to attack sites.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links

I guess IE9 doesn't have the kind of security that Firefox implements.
Now this is some news. I googled about 3790T that are available in the Philippines and I was surprised that there were a couple of hits of sellers selling this particular model. Does this mean there is a 3790PH firmware?

yes seems units (but 1360) have PH firmware : localized firmware

There's a local forum in our country with a 3790T users group
I guess the 3790T is also common here, lol.
If there isn't a 3790PH firmware, can I not just use a 3790SG firmware when I buy a 3790T US model?
