Unlocked map not detected by 3790T, but works fine in 265

Hi catmag: another issue showed up. Yesterday I used voice command feature in the 3790T for the first time since update the map. Some commands no longer work. For example: if I say "Find by Name", or "Find City", I will get an error reply: "This feature is not available in American English". These commands worked normally before the update. I just have not used voice command since the update. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This happened to my nuvi as well. After map update voice command no longer works. I get the error : "This feature is not available in American English"
Does anyone know a fix?

try to run Webupdater, may be it fixes it

Do you update ASR (voice command) with main maps files? This files is specific for each version of main map.

I did run webupdater. It did not resolve the issue.

How do I update ASR? The only change I made was replacing the original map img file with a newer one downloaded from a peer-to-peer site.

Sorry it took a while, I was out of town.
I am not sure I understand your reply, by "map index" do you mean the map id number? Also, where is this "CN thread" you mentioned?
