Default IMG into basecamp 3.2.2. Have problems

Hello. I have read alot of post on this forum today. This has helpt me alot. Speial Maps downloading tips for new Garmin users. I have Basecamp 3.2.2 and have installed the Patch. I have som older TOPO maps. They have a setup file so i got this inside. But i have some img files. I uset FastIMG unlocker 2.1. Copy the file to c:\Garmin\sd\Svealandv3.img and gmapsupp.img.
I started GMapTool 0.6.2 - 29.3.2012. Add files. Then go to write and write ALL. Write into all maps..... End.

When opening Basecamp i only can switch between Topo maps. Can't see maps from img. So Maybe I have to change something in th GMap Tool? Can't find any tutorial at this.

One more: Is it possible to have all topo maps toghter. NOt have to swich between them? And also the img maps?

I think that you need for the JOIN instead the WRITE and no "sd\" in path!

    Join all maps.
    Input file: C:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img.
    Input file: C:/Garmin/Svealandv3.img.
    Reading file C:/Garmin/gmapsupp.img.
    Reading file C:/Garmin/Svealandv3.img.
    Size: block 65536, header 458752, file 2542206976
Create output file error, file C:/Garmin.

There were errors, result is faulty.

    End.

    Split selected:
    ..............
    Write map I0FDE97C -> 16640380.img, file 2646016, header 2000h, block 2048
    Write unl gmaptool01.unl, codes 3
Multiple products in img, creating TDB aborted, try opion -f.

There were errors, result is faulty.

    End.

Now you can go to the folder you specified and run install.bat. Remeber again, it needs admin rights.
install.bat? Whats this. Where can i find this file?

You had errors in both cases, in first case: JOIN, probably the name of the output file is wrong
in the second case :SPLIT you havent added the map FID in the appropriate field and the files for Mapsource havent been created.
Install.bat is the installer to run to have your map in Mapsource and you'll find it in your output directory along the uninstall.bat
Better you look with care at Gmaptool tutorials.

Does this tuto work also for Basecamp?
I have the same problem, the map I want to use (to be visible in Basecamp and to be uploaded to Garmin 276C) does not appear in Basecamp.
I have used Gmaptool 0.8 version, unsuccessfully.

    :-(

    Which map?
That tuto is to install an .img in Mapsource by Gmaptool, nothing to do with Basecamp.
To look at a map in Basecamp, copy the .img in an sd in a Garmin folder, plug it to your pc and start Basecamp.
All the maps( not Bluecharts) to be visible in Basecamp must have MS flag set to 0. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    Current Gmaptool version is
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Basecamp is not suitable for Bluecharts, use Homeport instead.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Bluecharts will show in plotters if unlocked and simply copied in sd in a Garmin folder: one per sd.

Thank you for this prompt reply.
Actually I read a lot, index of garmin tutorials, also this post 2 and the 0 flag optionm etc, but I missed the essential !!! I did no realize that the marine bluecharts were not compatible with basecamp, What a crook !!!
I will start again, I do not know Homeport yet, let's go !
    Sorry for that.
