Also have the same MD5 problem
have done some experiments
the maps are not loading
the software works
continue testing tomorrow
together will find a solution
This is the Europe map.
@kunix:
file size is correct, see the file attributes on my PC.
I just started downloading, to see if uploaded and downloaded file are identical...
In the meantime I generated the md5 of the original file again on another computer (using WinMD5Free v1.20): the result is still the same as written in post #23
The downloaded file generates the md5 that was posted by kunix.
A file compare (DOS command fc /b) shows a lot of differences.
Seems that uploaded and downloaded file are not identical, whatever the reason is.

This is what torrents are good for. The file is broken into chunks and each one is hashed. If some chunk is broken, you redownload it, but not the whole file.
today I made a second try with filemail, but unfortunately with the same result: different md5 checksums of uploaded and downloaded file :-((
@janch: can you send me details about the ftp server?
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
catymag, I would better say: compress it with some archiver like winrar while splitting the archive into volumes and adding CRC verification.
I made another attempt and this time I was successful, the md5 checksums of the uploaded and downloaded file are identical.
I compressed and splitted the image with winrar in 1GB parts, and saved about 4GB. So you have to download "only" a little more than 10GB splitted up in 11 parts
MD5: 09765a34e40a65932543c8accb908e7b

Finally downloaded it! The MD5 is okay.
@kunix
How is the test? Is the software work with your car? And how about the map?
I don't have this car I'm planning to disassemble the software a bit in the future, but now I'm leaving my town and going on holidays
