Default Garmin Map Pilot for Mercedes-Benz cars

Since some months Mercedes-Benz offers the Garmin Map Pilot navigation system.
The software and maps are located on a 16GB SD-card.
When the SD-card is used for the first time in a car the card and the hardware of the car will "get married".
Therefore you can't use the card in any other car.
I'm wondering if there is a workaround to pass by this protection, so that the car "thinks" the card is used for the first time

    Any ideas out there?

The map data is not, like on other garmin devices, stored in one *.img file.
At the moment I'm not sure, which files contain the map data.
I assume that software and map data is stored in the "NDS Directory" (see the images below)

    NDS directory (overall about 12GB):

    PRODUCT1 directory:

    E1 directory (E2 - E12 looks similar to E1 ):
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    PPRODUCT2 directory:

I just uploaded the content of the root directory and the E12 directory as an example (I think E1 .. E12 are map regions of Europe).
The SD-card contains about 15GB of data.

It's based on WinCE for SH4 processor.
NaviPnd.dll most probably contains all the functionality.

The only two files that are different to all the others related to date are "fm_sub.bin" and "GarminDevice.xml", both located in the root directory.
Cause the card works only in one car, but not in other ones, some information is written to the card during first use. Maybe all this information is located in "GarminDevice.xml"?

It would be helpful if someone could upload the content of the root directory from a card that was not yet used in a car.

My goal is to find a way to use one card in different cars, like the Becker Map Pilot, that could be used in more than one car.
In a second step it would be interesting how map data could be updated, cause there is no lifetime map update for the SD-cards.

I modified the unique CAR Identification number in the GarminDevice.xml as shown in the vehicle registration certificate and now the software is running ok. But I still need the maps. Can I use the maps from Garmin Street Pilot or from the mobile Version or could anyone upload the maps please?

Look for <VinNumber> in GarminDevice.xml (located near to the end of file).
I assume you have to change it to the VIN of your car.
Cause my new car with Garmin Map Pilot will be delivered in 2015, I can't test it on my own.
But I'm interested if you can use the card after this modification, or if the maps are still locked

Is it possible to upload the entire SD card.
With xmldrive you can copy all the protections it.
In the NDS directory are also still NDS filles that are IMPORTANT.
