The files did not get copied to SD card properly. Now it is working just fine. Put the 2 files for europe and north america and renamed as follows, works fine.
SDcard: /Map/eu.img
SDcard: /Map/na.img

Garmin Nuvi 2545 cannot read map on external card
Hi, I have a Garmin Nüvi 2545 in Germany. Software Version: 7.20, GPS-Firmware 4.41.10
I wanted to put the NA map 'Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2017.10 Unlocked' on the external card. I got a SDHCmicro 8GB. I put the 'gmapprom.img' in a 'Map' folder and then when it did not work in the 'Garmin' folder but the map is not recognized. Is there a work around?
