Garmin Drivesmart 61 and Garmin Streetmap
Hi there,
I just purchased Garmin Drivesmart 61 with lifetime US map but would like to have other countries' map as well. I tried to put in a Streetmap but it said Map crashed. It seems that this Streetmap doesn't work on Drivesmart 61. Anything I have to do to make this work ? Or I must download another (special) map ?

Butters info is OK but be careful with patching it.
Seeing that this a new GPS unit I would just buy a one licenses for what every country you need.
Then you do not void the warranty on the Unit.
I too have the Garmin Drivesmart 61 and it is a very good unit.
I also have a deal where I could download one extra map of my choice for free.
As a thank you for buying the Drivesmart 61.

I to have the same situation. I need two maps, for two small countries, one in Asia and one in Europe but I find it quite expenshive to pay $120 For City Navigator® Middle East and Northern Africa NT and $100 for City Navigator® Europe NT
A total of $220 for two maps.
Is there an option?
