This is the 2009 version that has been called back by Garmin.
The problem is that Garmin has generated soundings that is not on the original map.
However is this not a big problem if you understand that within the 3 meter curve the depth is MAXIMUM 3 meter.
Garmin created depth curves that do not exist on the original chart, assuming a linear bottom profile(!).
BUT - there is a problem if you update the GPS software, latest version refuse to handle the 2009 charts.

Worked just fine with Garmin Gpsmap 620!
Garmin VEU709L v11.50 South Norway worked perfectly with my Gpsmap 620!
However, SD-Card ID changed when taking SD-card from my NUVI 200 to GPSMAP 620. (Fund the SD-Card ID by pressing the Battery indicator for about 10 sec in "Car/Driving mode".)Last edited by sToNiZ; 29th June 2010 at 03:53 PM.

The CID of a SD card is most certainly permanent and not changeable. Garmin relies on that when they sell maps on SD and microSD cards.
If a map is unlocked with a key using a UnitID it will only be unlocked for that specific unit. If the unlock key is based on a memory card CID the map should be unlocked by using it with any Garmin GPS capable of reading the specific unique memory card. Trying to copy the map from one memory card to another needs another unlock key based on the new CID for the second memory card.
All this can be avoided by removing the lock mechanism with "Garmin unlocker" if that's more desirable.

Im having problems unpacking this. I get the following errors......

First time I tried unpacking I got errors from part01, part02, part15 and part 16. second time I got from different.
After downloading the files, I moved them to another folder before trying to unpack, thats it.
Any ideas?

no errors for me in extracting. use winrar and decompress it clicking just on part 1, it will decompress all the parts, if you'll have error , download the map parts with Jdownloader- Always better to use it to download multipart files to avoid these CRC problems due to a bad download-
