Hi all,
I have upgraded a North America version of the Nuvi 350 before by downloading a unlocked full City Navigator IMG file and copying it onto my device.
I am unfamiliar with the files provided in this thread. The NA city navigator file i downloaded before was 1.4GB in size, wheras the files provided in this thread are about 150MB. I am assuming that is because these are update files instead of the whole map?
How would I install them? I used the unlocker provided in the link that catymag posted and I unlocked the gmapsupp.img file.
Do i just copy that onto a SD card in a folder labeled "Garmin"?

how come the .IMG file is so small?
am i correct in thinking that it is just an update to an existing mapset whereas the 1.4GB .IMG file I used to update my North America device was a complete map?

Taiwan is a lil island comparing to north American continent- the Taiwan map is a complete map

should I be able to use the taiwan map on my NA nuvi? (im not in possession of my taiwan nuvi at the moment)
because i see the Taiwan City Navigator listed under "map info", but I'm unable to find any taiwanese localities.

i was able to unlock the map with fast img unlocker, but my device was pop up a message said 'no detail map found'....anyone can help ?
