Cities with 25 hundred thousands Points of Interest (POIs) arranged in various categories. Points of Interests are buildings, businesses, banks, hospitals, restaurants, etc. All the highways, road networks from north to south and east to west are covered in SatGuide’s India map.
Satguide maps are robust and easy to read and follow. Digital maps have enhancements like night or day options and are rich, accurate and have more coverage.
The maps of the states which are now available with SatGuide are those of Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh, Pondicherry, Orissa, Tripura, Uttaranchal and West Bengal. In Andhra Pradesh, detailed maps are available for Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vishakpatnam, Kakinada, and Guntur to name a few with 75,635 important POIs. 20,500 POIs are covered in detail for Hyderabad.
In and around Delhi, detailed maps are available for Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and other cities with as many as 6,10,255 POIs in the current upgrade. In Mumbai the satellite cities like Navi Mumbai, Powai, Kalyan, Karjat, Bhiwandi are covered with help of 64,252 POIs and the whole of Maharashtra is covered by 1,20,063 important POIs and major cities like Nagpur, Nashik, Pune are covered in these maps.
As for Bangalore the major cities covered are Yelahanka, Whitefield, Puttenahalli with 3,15,248 POIs. In Chennai the major satellite cities that are extensively covered by SatGuide are Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, and Ennore with 2,12,950 POIs. In Kerala, the major cities that are covered by SatGuide are Kottayam, Thrissur, Kochi, and Kovalam to name a few with 62,718 POIs.
^ Did you see 'Food and Drinks' option in POI. Not sure if I am the only one having it missing for this map.
I tried with MMI 4.01 and then city navigator 2011.30. Both of them shows the option; except for this map.
Yes. Size is more which in general terms should mean more data.
However at the same time, its odd to notice that V(possibly refers to version) (below Data MPS in the image) shows 19FEB10 in new map and 28APR10 in the old
