There's a special thread with unlocked cityXplorer maps usable for nüvi 37xx series. MMR data for public transportation is altered to MapID=800 for those maps so the GMA digital certificate restriction will be circumvented.
They should work in any Garmin unit capable of reading NT maps. The Public Transportation mode will as always only work with the specific Garmin models that have such EPM (Enhanced Pedestrian Mode) feature in the specification.

It will work if you take the special treated file from the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. It's only in that thread you can download the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Also make sure that you place the files in the correct path.
[GPS or microSD drive]:\Map\London_2012_10.img
and
[GPS or microSD drive]:\Map\London_2012_10.unl /* containing 25-character code generated with JM KG v1.5 using MapID=800 and UnitID or CardID */

In GMXT it will work only as a normal CN. No EPM, or 3D buildings either.

There are reports that 2xxx series does not support EPM without first having a satellite fix in the relevant city. See here, from Post #46: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. If you are not in London and are unable to get it to work in simulation it would seem those reports are correct. If you are in London and have a sat. fix you may have not unlocked the map properly. Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
