2.08 is the latest version of contributors map? or this is just their demo for editing purposes?

Yes, this is the Demo version, so: no routing, no "find" features.
In short this Map is for viewing purpose only, not for GPS

yes, it is the demo map ... when installed in Mapsource, it is also useful for comparing other PH maps

Looks like the guys at roadguide have clamped down tighter on leaking the contributors map now that the leaders are selling it to papago (or some other map maker)...

I read that story somewhere too. The reason they do'nt open the contributors edition to the public because others are selling it but now they are selling it too. If the want the map to be more detailed they should open it to all GPS users and just campaign or inform the public that it should not be for sale.
