The Navteq maps are better than Sensis. I just bought a nüvi 2595 and it was updated to the Navteq map by Garmin. I will try the Navteq map with some older nüvi units to see how they go.
@hulio
As you can see in post #2 we have the IMG version available for other units than nüvi 465T and dēzl™ 5xx. It's identical content compared to the dēzl™ version in post #1, just another file name depending on the unit you download to through myGarmin.

The mapping may be Navteq but to access the truckie info you need appropriate software on your nav unit (likr the 765) to see height/load limits etc. Otherwise it just appears outwardly the same as any other nav software.
Anyone able to provide SID folder content from 34xx for use with Navtech City Navigator® Australia & New Zealand NT map.
Maybe not so good for Sensis 'Lifetime updates'. Be interesting to see if Garmin continue with Sensis updates on a regular basis for older (37xx) units.This is good news for those of us who are AU map users on a daily basis. I have been unhappy with Telstra/Sensis/WhereIs maps for sometime
@fringe
Hate to be the one to point you to this:
Under the "Requirements" tab, of all places, is "Terms & Limitations" which begins:Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
If you purchase a nüMaps Lifetime subscription (sold separately or bundled together with certain GPS models), you will receive up to 4 map data updates per year, when and as such updates are made available on Garmin’s website, for 1 compatible Garmin product until your product’s useful life expires or Garmin no longer receives map data from its third party supplier, whichever is shorter......... blah, blah... So they have a legal out if they are no longer receiving map date from Sensis. Let's see what they do with the "nuMaps guarantee" for devices sold with Sensis 2013.10 after the release of Navteq 2013.20 too ....

Garmin's use of the marketing term 'Lifetime subscription' is a little bit misleading to say the least. The 3790LMT unit was my first Garmin gps. It is now operating as a 3490 so I can't complain too much if no more Sensis maps ;-)a nüMaps Lifetime subscription
So are you saying that this truck map will not work on a nuvi 1450t?

NO Wolfmanoz says it works like a normal map from Garmin, but will not show hight/loads limit, since there are no software support to show this options.
