the jcv appear to be pirated copy on my garmin asus m10 sg/my . I think I need to use Thai firmware instead .

I downloaded this file "Thailand Streetmap Dual 2012.30" whichwas post on #10 and installed them on my Nuvi 3770, and both map and jcv worked very well.

@Coltmon Which county's firmware you are using? If Thai Nuvi 3770 is sure to work. Please advice if you use other firmware beside Thai Firmware. Thanks.

which link I should download from? very confused it has a lot
locked img and unlocked img - what is different? which one i have to download for?
JVC - i don't have to download this, right? I understand that it means Junction View that my nuvi doesn't have it.

Your 205 cannot use the extra files such as JCV. Download only the image you require. An unlocked image will work as-is. If locked use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock it. Best to place the map in an SD card rather than on your unit if possible: x:\Garmin\gmapsupp.img (map named gmapsup1.img should also work in 205 if you have recently updated fw i think).'Thanking Posts' are banned. Both my Nuvi units are US models. There is no need to download anything except the English map version because the other parts won't work anyways. The unlocked version will work without any other actions required. The locked version must be unlocked for you to use it.
