Do not run the executable archive after downloading, instead use 7zip/Winrar/Winzip etc to open the archive and extract the contents. The required files will be found in the MapData folder. Use gimgunlock [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to unlock the map

Part1 has gmapprom.img of size 1.07 GB. This works well as map in garmin devices. So what exactly does Part2 & Part3 consist of?

Not sure of the one you are referring to, since I took the files from kenta2, but releasers split a single large file into multiple part for ease of sharing. You cannot extract the file with only one part. You will need all the split parts to get the complete source file. Originally Posted by virtirix

Probably virtirix simply didn't realise that extracting Part 1 automatically extracts Parts 2 & 3 when they are together in the same folder. In fact initially extracting any rar part (1 [370MB], 2 [370MB] or 3 [364.56MB]) will subsequently extract the other 2 to yield the gmapprom.img
