Is there a difference between Garmin City Navigator Europe NT 2014.40 and NavCity Turkey 2014 T1 In coverage for Turkey I'm going on a trip to Turkey And I want the best map
There's often no clear-cut answer to that sort of question, but i reckon it'll probably be the Basarsoft version. Why not download this and the Turkey only image from either EU or EUU map thread depending on your unit, then load both with just one selected at a time. Not such a big extra download that way.

In my opinion, Basarsoft is better, because it obviously has a much better coverage.
I would like to suggest to also supplement it with an Openstreetmap of Turkey. On the main roads, the Garmin and Basarsoft maps are ok, but sometimes they lack the smaller in-roads. This is obviously the current info, as the maps keep improving, so maybe by next year, the OSM-map will be the worst of 3 choices.
When driving through the backroads, I always calculate my route on the 3 maps, and pick the best. For instance, last year I found a shorter inland road to Saklikent, with OSM, than the Basarsoft map (23km vs 45km, give or take a few km's as I can't remember the exact numbers).
