Thread: The JCV and 3D not working

I have Nuvi 3790LMT which is supposed to support those features but when I add those files they dont work. I dont see 3D nor junctions views. First I was placing those files in the root directory but later learned that my device has a hidden \.system folder. Even after placing them there they still dont work. I am using city navigator middle east 2017.2 but the files JCV and 3D are from 2016.2 version. does that make the difference? do they have to agree in version? Does the file .sum that is found in the folder with those files have anything to do with them?
Pls advise about the possible reason why those files are not working.
