The reason for not updating to v5.0 is that I don't wont to lose my "travel guide Europe" (Marco Polo).
IIRC, this travel-guide doesn't work with v5.0 anymore...
Are there good alternatives for a travel-guide for v5.0 ?

Has anyone knows about a new release of a City Navigator NA 2009 USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribean included?? A few months ago a read some news about Navteq going to include Mexico on its NA version, and in some sites in Europe they are starting to sell it, but I don’t see anything in Garmin o Navteq sites.

Hi all,
I have garmin in my n95 with USA map and today seeing one of the posts i installed another map(india) by changing the name of the map to gmapprom.img.
I can able to veiw both the maps in garmin>Tools>Mange my data.
The problem is when i enter some adress of india it is not searching and it is showing "not found". Does any body knows the problem how to activate two maps at a time.

Then just name map 1 "GMAPSUPP.IMG", map 2 "GMAPSUP1.IMG", map 3 "GMAPSUP2.IMG"

Call the .UNL files the same e.g "GMAPSUP2.UNL" and have the corresponding map unlock code in there.

Dump all in "E:\Garmin\" and it should work fine

which india map are you using?
if it is splitted from another map, search will not work. You will see map but no adress search
i've posted an India map, but if you read my post i say search doesnt work with that map, i wrote it in red ,lol

I have a problem with GPSMaps_South america.
When i use the reg file: mapsource.reg :

and then start mapsource there is an error on 67 ??

How to get this one right !!!
i used mapsource fix to see wat is wrong:
it said:
32;67?;?;?;Incorrect link;
How to get this working ?
When i use different folders: eg: C:\Garmin\gpsmapsouth
( i rename it nder winxp)
and fill the registry with this:

For those of you who have MapSource 6.14.1 installed and experience problems with non official Garmin maps: There is a temporary fix.

download the MapSource Maps Compatibility_v0.2_Beta.rar application.

Extract this file on your computer using WinRar and run the application. The application will indicate maps that would cause problems in MapSource 6.14.1 are indicated and fixed with one button click.

This solution is needed for MapSource 6.14.1 and over until Garmin map installers of the various suppliers are fixed.
