hi folks, Is it possible to use garmin .img files on a pc?

I must be dumb, because I've got no idea how too go about it, and everything seems to be only phone related. I've got garmin mobile PC running on my laptop and have downloaded what I thought was the relevant files but dunno what to do next, they are a .img file.

Halp!

edit: I am dumb. I should learn to search betterer. all i had to do was drop the file in the garmin directory!

unfortunately our map will only run on Garmin software or devices. Garmin seem to be supporting more third party devices and recently released a cradle unit for Blackberry. Maybe they will get around to supporting S60 3G phones soon.

Hi there,

I have a UK Nuvi 200W which has a UK base map in it. Will Malsingmaps work with this unit in singapore if i loaded in as an additional map?

I couldn't test it as I'm in UK right now and the unit is for my mother-in-law back home. Just want to make sure before i ship it to her.

I've found noeman.org/gsm/maps/71874-new-garmin-adriaroute-2-2-a.html, but I am confused a little, especially about keygen.

Hello, I`ve tried searching and this is very new to me. (GPS and this forum).

I got the .img file for the UK and I`m looking to get in my PC. I dropped the image file into the Garmin directory, then what.

I started up Mapsource and nothing. My Basemap is currently Topo Canada, does this have an effect.

Please help. I`m leaving for London in two days and thought my gps could help me out.
