    Hi catymag,
My Germin5000 works great, but my wife would like to have a Spanish Voice on it. Now it speaks only English. Thus, I thought to d/l this Spanish map and then copy the Spanish Voice into the Voice folder of my GPS. Problem: I d/l [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] but now I don't know how to get this type of image working. I tried to record it as image onto a CD. It recorded it, but then it doesn't show as a program. I searched the CD image via RUN, but it showed nothing...
My MagicISO doesn't recognize it as a valid image, too. I didn't have the problem with d/l Gamin's ChileStreet maps. What to do?? Thx in advance! Joh from Quilpue

put it directly in your device, it's not an iso is a garmin map image ready to put in devices....regarding voices look in garmin voices sticky thread, you must rename your file ,but...read that thread

Hi folks. I'm new to both this forum and sat nav, so please excuse me if I ask some stupid questions.
I've downloaded the above (Thank you very much, I'm off to Spain next week) but struggling to get it to work. I have Nuvi 300T, I've successfully managed to update basemap (UK & Ireland only) from 2008 to CN Europe NT 2010.10 UK & Ireland on the Nuvi hard drive with no issue, well, it took me a while to get there, but it now works perfectly. I have also managed to get a large Europe map (Also 2010) to work from the SD, but it is large scale and does not have the detail I need for Spain.
I'm trying to add this Spain map onto the SD card as gmapsupp.img (I've removed the previous large scale), but when I restart Nuvi it says it cannot unlock maps and only the UK one works. Mapsource also cannot open the image as it says NT 2009 is not loaded.
Do I have a version mismatch, I have 2010 working OK, but I can't get this 2009 version to work and struggling to see what I'm doing wrong.
    Any advice please?
    Thanks
    John

PS. I've now managed to get it into Mapsource.... sort of, I've unlocked it, but the map tool to select regions to transfer to Nuvi is not working. Map tool selection works fine on my Europe 2010, but not on the Iberia map although it says it is unlocked. It's also not displaying correctly in the Mapsource map view, only small sections will stay visible, if I zoom in more will appear, then disappear again when I zoom back out. Doesn't appear to have loaded correctly.
I wish I understood how these things worked, as I'm probably over complicating things

Okey doke, I sussed it eventually. I had the large Europe 2010 map working OK, so I used gmaptool to join this Iberia map to the working 2010 map, then just dumped it onto the SD card in place of the original 2010. I don't get the option of seperate maps now, it all seems to have got jumbled up with the UK/Ire somehow, at least on the map info list, but when I check the map on the Nuvi, all the detail appears to be there now, where it wasn't before, so I think I've managed it.
Just simulated a route from home to tiny road north of Moraira, all seems OK.

Thanks again for the map, it will be most useful.
