Garmin Southern africa streetmaps 2009 (pid 1214)

I have installed and unlocked this, and used Mapsource to transer it to a Windows Mobile PDA (with Garmin Mobile XT installed on it). However, I can't search for street names, cities etc on my PDA and of course can't plan a route, even though before the transfer I ticked the checkbox "include route calculation data" in Mapsource. The map is there and is viewable, but the way things are it's unusable.

Am I doing something wrong ? How should I transfer this to my PDA in order to be fully functional ?

I want to thank you in advance but can you please update the shortcut for the map this one does not work anymore I would really appreciate it as I'm from Port Elizabeth in South Africa thanks again.
