First try the QSI version, if works, no need for a patched "Que.exe"

THE two .img files copy to the \Garmin\, when start the device, which shown the "map can't be unlocked", is any unlock procedure i skipped?

What about generate an unlock code with MapID and your Device/CardID?
Use the Keygen from JetMouse

1, used the garmin_kgen_1.5 input the Mapid/device id to create a 25 length code, it works.
2,following in step should have one UnlockMap application, input the unlock code, which create two new unlocked .img files, copy them to the garmin device.

right now i just confused how to unlock the img files if no UnlockMap_v750_ENG.exe available?

I have downladed and installed this version. Now I am sitting in Peking and i have an offset - for orientation its good, but when you are driving its bad, the navi always want to drive left to get on den main street where i am already.
Did I make anything wrong?

Did you exchange also the basemap?
Not sure whether it helps, but for the Nuvi series is a file called 006B082300.bin, which corrects that also
