I remembered that Garmin uses a write-back GPS port or similar. If your device is not supported, you can try gps-port or other virtual port program to get through.

And for its version. It is a modified version of 50030asn, which i think is the fastest.

I´m trying to get the garmin mxt on my mio C250. I have changed to /Storage Card/ copy the file to app/wm. Then i copied the files on the Storage Card and put it in my mio. When i try to open garmin.exe it causes an error: Application GpsGateCE.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor. Program: GpsGateCE.exe Exception: 0xC0000005 Adress: 03C4741C

What do i wrong?

What i have to to in Step 3? What should be edited in the garmin.mscr file?

I have a problem and hope someone could help me!
I loaded the Garmin Mobile XT Version 5.00.30wp-ASN to my Chinese made PND. I put a Korea V8 map to it. The map is OK when I checked with the Map Sets. Overall the program runs ok and is able to check the satalite.
When I tried to enter an address. It displayed "In which state is the address?" and invite to select state. When I press the select state. It showed None found. I then spell to enter a city name, street name or whatever, It just displayed None found.
I then press the Cities Icon and it just displayed all the cities of China and Hong Kong but no Korea cities.
Have I missed out something. Please help! Thank you!

You should be able to as long as the GPS-device you have can run custom user-selectable exe, which is the case with most if not all nobrand GPS-navigators from China.

FYI, on my navi, I can get an edited version of this to load by running:

garmin\apps\wm\que.exe

Try this and see if it runs for you.

I've downloaded all the files from the first post after several days betahash posted it. But no guts to try it until today.. Currently using 5.00.2 in my DLAA 7" ICE HU running Win CE5. Well after following this thread for almost a year, now fell tempted to try it.. Lets hope everything will go smooth and fine... Will update after trying it...

Is the upper left distance indicator's problem in 480 x 272 res devices, has been fixed in this release ?

The problem is the first digit on the upper left distance indicator always get cut in half, for example : "800 m" will be shown as "300 m"

This problem alone makes GMXT v5.00.30 unusable in 480 x 272 devices, as the upper left distance indicator hold a very crucial role at routing
