    They always remark "Use with your own risk" because nobody can absolutly garantee it's safe to use.
    Because "the right rgn or gcd file" can harm the unit if there are any wrong file inside.
    ie when you leave us regional file (text,voices,etc) in nuvi when you flash to Asian f/w --> your unit may get rebooting problem ., etc.

    Tested modified firmware (.gcd) for 7x5 US/EU HWID 870 convert to 765 Taiwan swv 3.10
    Download link :: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    Instruction :: Rename this file to gupdate.gcd and put in sd card\garmin ., and then turn your nuvi off and turn on again., That's it.
    Nuvi will update this firmware automatically.
