    Hello

    Great work guys!
Has anyone got a patcher for the 62sc yet? I see there is a update available for sw to 2.40.
I can only find a web update facility not the sw update.
    Thanx.

Version 2.9 of patcher should correctly process the firmware 2.40 for 62sc. You just need to download the firmware file with WebUpdater, and patch it.

WebUpdater does not really update the firmware in the device, in fact, it only downloads the update file (GUPDATE.GCD) and copies it to \Garmin folder in the device. Its when you reboot the device, the firmware is updated.
If you don't unplug the device from your PC after the update is downloaded, you can do whatever you want with GUPDATE.GCD.

Came out by Garmin the new firmware for edge 800 - 240. Alex, Can you please check it with the firmware putcher. Putcher write that is Ok and produced new putched file but it does not want to install on Garmin after copping the file there. Had to install previous version 220 and downgrade went OK. Thanks in advance.

What version of the firmware was installed in your Edge 800 when you've tried to flash the patched firmware?
What error has your device shown during the flashing?

It was 2.40 installed. I have putched the 2.40 firmware with option to change the number by one. It is started the upgrade procces and wrote that it is unable to upgrade. So I have copied there 2.20 putched instead and downgrade went smoothly.

    I see.

Could you please try to upgrade now to 2.40 without changing the version number in the patcher?
