    Hello.

I bought this GPS because of the large amount of internal memory that has (8 Gb), thinking of putting several maps (and I use the gps on road and mountain), but has a phallus glaring disappointment in the firmware can not change map.

I have sent several messages to garmin (already wrote before), I first took off and after that I responded (threatening to publish the ruling on various forums). But this is now almost 4 months and still do not know about them.

Well, I think I have to wait sitting to update the firmware and correct this error.

    A greeting.

I haven't had that with 2350 using 3.60, no problem changing location multiple times without resetting simulation mode.

But this is a real pain in the bum!:

Obviously the boffins at Garmin don't think it is such a problem or they would have fixed it by now, you'd think.

After this situation I doubt I would ever buy another Garmin. Their support is really horrible. I mean, everytime I wrote to them they always replied nicely saying they will forward the information to the engineering team. But it looks that in reality all the bug reports are trashed right away becuase they never fix anything! I don't know whats wrong with these GPS (23xx, 22xx, 24xx) but it looks that Garmin want to forget their existence.

FW for 22xx,23xx will be available in about 14 day.
They know about problem and work on repair.
    What is wrong with 24xx?
Nuvi 22xx and 23xx have the same FW but not 24xx.

Garmin is taking a lot of time to develop this new fw version. For the sake of them and their loyal customers, I hope it is bug free and well tested. Not like the last one.
