What makes you think that v2.40 is available?
April 27, 2011 was v2.10 released, very unlikely that so soon is a new version available

3770TH swv2.10 have many bugs.
Nuvi will restart while navigate & simulation.
ESRI say fw update will be released around next month.

Yes Good I cannot change to Thai Firmware 2.10..... logo come up and rebooting all the time

I've had a Nüvi 3770 for about two weeks now, and it's getting to the point of being unusable. In the middle of navigating somewhere, it will crash and restart without warning. It even loses its satellite fixes, so that when it restarts, you have to wait for it to lock on to the satellites again which can take several minutes. Very frustrating and if I don't see a firmware fix from ESRI in the next week or so, I'm taking it back and asking for a refund.

BTW, ESRI did say that a workaround was to set the map detail to 'normal' and not 'most', but this had no effect for me.

If you are thinking of buying a Nuvi 3770, don't do it until this problem is fixed.

How about 3790Taiwan ? I heard about rebooting while navigate in Thailand too.

I tried to update my US 3790 with Thai 2.10, and get boot loop, had to restore back to US firmware, then back to SG/MY 2.30 and now no reboots, very stable. I have detail set on Most, and it is great! Shows all the ATM, fuel stations. Today, it even showed the company symbol for a mall that they are building that won't be done for another year! No complaints with SG/MY 2.30, haven't tried the new 2.50 with rgn cure yet that Airionfoo sent me yesterday. I tried 2.50 a week ago and just got the boot loop.
