In case of rebooting loop., it's most probably from the wrong files in nuvi.
You need cure firmware.
Cure firmware that modified to ignore the wrong file(s).
It means you have to know what file(s) is(are) wrong.
If you don't know., so you have to create cure firmware to ignore the suspected file(s).

Nuvi 1350 Stuck on garmin logo
I tried different firmware versions, cure, normal, higher version, lower version, but still the same, in higher versions it shows "Software Loading..." then "Software Missing" and then reboots, in lower versions, just show "Software Loading..." and reboots, in updater.exe i always get the screenshot attached, current version as g7towin says is 3.60, ID: 0972

I have created several cure files, some just ignoring the filetypes (GPX, IMG, GCD) and others ignoring the whole disk as pointed by another user in this forum, changing O:/ i believe to .:/
All of my files have hwid 972
Also, webupdater reports "Update file damaged" dunno the correct error in english as my OS is in spanishLast edited by omoiyume; 10th June 2011 at 04:29 PM.

Did you use Updater.exe (not Webupdater) like this picture ?
Did you try to flash with anyname.rgn (not xxxx0100yyyy) ?

using updater.exe, like in your picture, tried webupdater just in case, im trying the following files:
13xx-14xx 530.rgn
097201000340.rgn
097201000340_CURE.rgn (made by me replacing .gcd to .xcd etcetera)
097201000340_CURE2.rgn (made by me replacing drive letter)
097201000520.rgn
097201000520_CURE.rgn (made by me replacing .gcd to .xcd etcetera)
097201000530.rgn
097201000530_CURE.rgn (made by me replacing .gcd to .xcd etcetera)
097201000440.rgn (downloaded from gpspassion)

And I wonder about "Software Missing" because it will happen when nuvi get the updating with the wrong hwid .rgn file.

Yes, it loads to 100% in a second or two, and then reboots, software missing, and updater show the error posted above, i successfully did this in another unit, dunno what happens with this one

Ummm.... You got "Software Missing". !
All I know., it come from the other hwid rgn file (not 972) was flashed into 972 unit.

But iv'e checked every file with rgn tool and all of them are 972

Befor software missing,what do you do with your unit?Do you change voice,text or something else?
If you have windows 7 updater.exe wont work properly.
If you have in all fw version the same text as in your picture then your flash didnt work and you flash nothing.
Can you post your original gupdate.gcd from your nuvi backup?
If you run webupdater what is writen on fw before downloading (fw 5.30 or fw 5.30 MTK ?),can you post screenshot?Last edited by lolypop000; 11th June 2011 at 11:56 AM.
