I dont know if nuvi 40 have the same region for enable,but we can try.
Region 139 and region 140,maybe also 141.

Nothing done.

I believe that this firmware does not have these regions.
In the regions 139, 140 and 141 error occurs when reading and the files are with 0 bytes.

Then is like on nuvi 1xxx where this region is also empty.
If you have time can you scan all region from 1 to 255?

I trying to activate the new features on a nuvi 2495 but I can�t.
Coudl you please explaing it a little bit more for non technicians?
