How to cure 13xx into 1300?

I have a garmin 1300 GPS. I flashed it many times and it worked well. At the last time when I successfully flashed and used it well, I used a rgn (No.1) comprised with the boot.bin from nuvi13xxand14xxseries_GCDFile_540 and fw_all.bin and fw1_resources.bin from nuvi1495_CHN_v250. This time, I flashed it with another rgn (No.2) comprised with the boot.bin from nuvi13xxand14xxseries_GCDFile_570 and fw_all.bin and fw1_resources.bin from nuvi1495_CHN_v250. The flash succeeded and I can power on the GPS. But the GPS can not recogonize unlocked detailed maps. When I power on it, the screen showed nuvi 13xx, but before this time, it showed nuvi 1300.

I tried to flash it with the No.1 rgn again, but the GPS still showed nuvi 13xx and can't recogonize any detailed maps. It only can work with base world map but with obvious deviation.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks a lot!

Why 1495?

1. Find similar types of devices (CHN, JPN, SNG, IND/1350, 1365, 13....) !
2. In alternative FW replace boot.bin only from the original firmware and save as: 0XXX01000YYY, when "X" is your HWID and "Y" is firmware version !
3. Voice and Text folder rename as ".old"
4. See to it that it is not in alt.fw "logo.bin"

Actually, in order to explore all the functions of my device, I flashed many firmware such as 1300T, 1350T, 1355, 1470T and 1495 with the same boot.bin from v540 (HWID 0972). All of them worked well and I found 1495 had the most functions. The problem appeared after I updated the boot.bin from v540 to v570. Unfortunately, I have not the original firmware just for 1300 since I got the device. What I only have is the gcd file for nuvi 13xx and 14xx series. I guess Garmin fixed gcd v570 to prevent unlock/*****.

Not understand, as the original? The original was 5.40 and 5.70 and well. Here all:

Patching witin firmware altered memory configuration made 1300-->13xx.
Firmware flashing won't work., you need to flash memory.

The original means the firmware just for 1300 but not for all 13xx and 14xx series. Both 5.40 and 5.70 are for 13xx and 14xx series. The problem is still there even I flash it with gcd 5.40 or 5.70.

Original for your 1300 is fw 13xx and 14xx series

Idea about flashing memory by edited rgn region .bin files.

I have restore the model No to 1300 with the help of someone else. But it still doesn't work. Do you think it is still necessary to flash the memory? By the way, I can't flash the firmware from 5.70 back to 5.40. Why?
