Hello,
I am accepting ideas how can an additional language be added to Foreruner 610:
- no file system like in nuvis
- no language strings in the firmware
- no acces to updater.exeCode:Please Login or Register to see the links
- no SD card (access to regions)
Thanks,

I wonder what processor it has inside ?
Its gotta be mighty small !
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

@ dasilvarsa
Same as the GPS antenna I suppose. It is prebuilt in the strap. Really small and compact compared to its ancestors. Lets say Forerunner 305 where the antenna was enormous and was very irritating for wearing. This one is much more elegant.
@ kunix
Isn't it? Can you write what is it written inside? There are no text strings at all inside. Maybe it is criped or compressed some how. Maybe the text is on other rgns but how to access them?
Looks like 276C and some other device SW where resource was packed with certain algorithm!
You need Adrenalin or NeAdrenalin at choice for help...
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
@ Gio
Thanks for the clue...Sounds compicated. I didn't want to bother Neadrenalin for that. Alright, if that is the only wayl
I was able to find the function which flashes (supposedly) the firmware:
I've extracted the data which is passed to this function: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (there are two firmware regions: 0x0E and 0x55).Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
But I'm afraid, the data is compressed somehow (see the strange structure at the beginning of both bin files and compare it with the file endings) and I can't decompress it yet.
