Hi all
My nuvi 1350 is stuck at the Garmin screen and is multiple computers can't detect the device either as a drive on the computer or through web updater. Someone had accidently disconnected the usb cable from the device when I was updating it, so it looks like I have bad maps inside it. I also tried other usb cables.
I read a few threads on this forum and it looks like I am supposed to turn off the device, press the upper left corner for a while and then turn it on and keep holding the upper left until something happens. I tried this but still couldn't get into preboot mode so I can flash the device. Any advice? Am I doing the right thing?
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I tried doing this from the thread you had linked:
Pre-Boot for navigators nuvi 1200 1210 1300 1310 1350 1390 1410 1490:
1. Turn off the navigator.
2. Press the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Turn on the navigator still holding the upper left corner of the screen
I held the upper left corner for over 5 minutes but still nothing on the screen execept for "Garmin"
Is there another way of getting into preboot mode?
No, it's the only way. But I'm pretty sure that the pre-boot mode can't be broken by disconnecting USB cable in mass storage mode.
Try pressing the LCD as close to the upper left corner as possible. Also instead of turning on the device, just connect it to the PC, and it will turn on automatically.
Also have you installed Garmin USB drivers?
Also try using updater.exe for flashing CURE firmwares.
First install Garmin USB drivers.
If you dont have installed then pre boot wont work.
