problem, format nuvi 660

Just do as you're told. I erase all user data, reinstall fw with WebUpdater again erase all user data, launched device made a circle around the buliding and the result is the same, no voice no navigation.

I found something interesting, if only the basemap installed and start to navigate, there is a voice assistant, but the route is so determined to go hundreds of miles around insted few miles. If I choose another item to navigate then no voice and no recalculation assistant but well-defined routes. The third point to navigate behave the same way as the first, but it has a voice routes hundreds miles around. I think that the basic problem in the handling of map and recalculating new routes.On Inventory screen basemap stil calculates, never stops and says pass.

Also I found NAND test page checksum faild, whether it can affect the operation of the device.
When I worked FAT32 format memory I did with Windows7. There are several options cluster sizes for FAT32, I did with 4KB. What is the cluster sizes for nuvi660, 512 bit or 1KB or 2KB or another? please help

The last two days I've formatted nuvi660 with FAT32 in 512B, 1KB, 2KB, 4KB. Garmin works well with all formats except that is slower in smaller cluster size. Of course, I worked with GarminCure3 without success in curing. Finally, I formatted with NTFS and nuvi boots normally, only can not read the contents of the installed on NTFS partitions. This leads me to the conclusion that the device has an operating system that is not affected by the format. That OS also contain file GUPDATE.GCD and managed with its installation and run Memory Allocation table something like the old DOS operating system with the exact distribution of the upper and lower memory. How I can affect the upper memory to correct error on my nuvi660, because I think it might be a mistake in that, because I put a large file that is greater than the memory device like CN Europe NT 2013.40, so it is possible that damaged some of the system files. please help

Format using Rmprepusb to fat32

Nuvi 660 recognize CN map only to 2Gb if i remember correct.
Try format nuvi to FAT16 with prepusb.

I did a new installation of the backup as you said. Made format with Rmprepusb to FAT32 then immediately unzip backup copy on nuvi, bat the result is the same no navigation, no voice.

I sent you garmindevice.xml on your email to create complet backup. thanks

Take some photos of inventory, you can see where the possible error if any. please help

Connect nuvi to PC and create print screen and then open folder Garmin and creat print screen and add post picture.
