In system folder in folder jcv you must add jcv file for CN that you have installed.
If you use SD card you can add jcv file in SD card in folder Garmin/JCV/your jcv file.

thanks, so, it won't work unless I have a jvc file? too bad, I'm using custom maps since I'm in dominican republic, so I guess i'll never get the speed indication I thought that was separated from the 3d and jvc info

Extended Features i.e. Lane Assist, Junction View and Speed Limit work with City Navigator Maps.
To check if your device supports these functions do this
Press Battery Icon for +- 10 seconds
Press Next
Press Start Test
Press More
In the inventory screen you should see a line like the line below.
Splash D1340-50 2.00 nuvi narrow+wide,TTS,TRF,LA,J Pass
If you get this line your flash was successful. If it differs the flash was not successful.
Download a Small City Navigator unlocked img and corresponding JCV file to test in simulator mode.

thank you lolypop000, I found my mistake . I wrote JVC instead of JCV.
It is working now. Thanks alot
By the way , is there away to add the speed limit for the areas that are not shown in the map.
I can get the speed limit for the highways in my city not in the local roads

Not possible yet, i wrote to Garmin developer team if he can add this future on all nuvi not only in 2xxx and 3xxx.
Whei i get mail from him i let you know.

guys mine is 1355, got it from china and the part is B1182. is there anyway i can have jcv for this too?
