I am also interested in this for the Nuvi 1300. I have SW 6.10 as well as Windows 7 64 bit
, along with 2013 map. I have tried for several hours to get the Lane assist and Junction view to install and have had no success, but most of that time has been reading on this forum and making sure I had not missed anything before I posted.

touch battery until ur in diagnostic, click Next---start test--more.

Here you must see bootBLK 1104 if you have MTK or 0972 if you dont have MTK.

    p.s.

On win 7 you can also try to install garmin usb drivers as administrator. (right click on garmin usb drivers.exe and run as administrator)

I'm using 2013.10 and full jcv. Both of theses are in SD card.
    SD root/Map/2013.10
    SD root/Garmin/JCV/xxxxx.jcv
However, I 4got to mention that b4 I flash, I remove SD card from Garmin. Not sure if this make a different.

Removing the card from the Garmin before flashing was actually a smart move. However, it looks as if your directory structure is a bit messed up. Maps cannot be stored in subdirectories beneath X:/Map/ but must reside in the X:/Map/ directory itself. Thus, X:/Map/North America.img is acceptable. X:/Map/2013.10/North America.img is not.
