Thread: Looking for an off line route planner.

I want to explore the South Coast of England this Spring and would like to create a digital route covering the sites I wish to visit. I used to use AutoRoute but note that Microsoft in their wisdom or lack of it no longer support it so I can't ask questions such as;
Why is it that most of the addresses I input into my old copy of AutoRoute show up on the map but others only show as a number when I use the "Add as a stop.
That leaves me in the position of looking for a simple to use Route Planner. I have looked at the Garmin Base camp but find it rather complex and I tried to look at the Google route planner but could not open it up. So, can I ask the question that I'm sure has been asked dozens of times before which;

Is there a reasonably simple to use rout planning application?
