Do you have the phoneme file? It is supposed to help in such situations however in some languages it actually makes things worse.
I use Nuance NextGen Dutch(NL) - Xander Nuance(ve) TTSPro kajoe v 9.181
Many streetnames has wrong emphasis.
Not a big problem because everything works fine but is there a way to change the emphasis maybe ?

Yes, I have the latest HERE Dutch phoneme present but no difference.
Phoneme files don't belong in Android, every beginner knows that after 2 days with iGO.
The TTS engine is responsible for the emphasis
In Greek language is the same. Different engines have different problems in intonation. I don't think there is something you can do.
I never used phoneme, just tried.
@batiskaf and Anthonygreek
I leave it as it is I think, too complicated for me, I can understand what the machine means :-)
And TTSLexx not in Dutch.

🤔 phoneme in Android is nonsense - isn't it 🤔
Test once with the LUA-voices of @madyen

@ rondoan
Thanx for the tip !
Tried both, streetnames are correct but they give many other wrong announcements in Dutch so I stay
with Nuance NextGen Dutch(NL) - Xander Nuance(ve) TTSPro kajoe v 9.181 for now.
TTS voices have evolved a lot in recent years but very often they get the accents wrong in several words.
If you have the patience, the only way to limit this problem is to install Vocalizer Full 3.7.2 on your device, download voice Xander, (or Claire) and in iGO you use the Universal Unisex voice, if it's dictionary.voice is out of date replace it with one of the voices you are currently using.
With this version you can create your own User Dictionary inside the program where you can customize the words that will then be used instead of the "bad" ones.
Spoiler: APK
