NEWBIE [and THE OTHERS :)] PROBLEMS with NG INSTALATIONS

1. Reboot your OS
2. If problem isn't solved in that way, you need to give all permissions for iGO and reboot device,
3. If problem isn't solved, then you ARE lazy - if you're seeing something and you don't know what's the problem, then you need to give us screenshots if you want help from us that don't see your problem.

Needed screenshots for now:
- settings/storage
- iGO main folder with paths

EDIT: Your sys.txt have error! Change this

guys, i just can't make World version work from the sdcard, no matter what i configure in the sys.txt. i've read all the threads, all the help, tried everything, nothing seems to work. at best it starts but doesnt save the data. at worst it says sdcard/igo not found. sometimes it gives the no map error. tried it with all the apk's in this thread, the original ones and the 2 mods
any help pls? htc 10 phone here
it i run it from internal it works, but won't find the maps if i move them to sd

If you move maps to SD you must adapt your sys file
And this is discussed only 55645632 times

Software package is only ~38MB large, so there is good calculation to keep it on interrnal memory, and tarnsfer all to card.
Path in sys you have for example in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], only need to be adapted to your system.

In the first post you have written what and where you should copy and then you have written how and what to change in sys.txt. More specifically - can not be explained!

Yes, tnx for the reference,
Only htc 10 comes with MM and it is officially upgradable to Nougat.

and if guys you read my post i said i tried all the help posts, none worked. modified the sys.txt in a million ways and nothing works

edit:
i tried even more combinations and i got it working finally. so i guess it's trial and error

well it could have been me, but only if there was only one solution to this problem. and thanks for pointing out to me that all is not all at all. one learns something every day, else his existance is futile
but there are so many things that can go wrong with this installation on android and its permissions system that it might just be that one must find the one solution that works on his phone

It's true that problem is Android permissions related. And you know that.

But you're saying that you are reading ALL helpful posts about this problem. That means you have knowledge that iGO main folder MUST be at place with write permission for user's apps ...actually you know that, minimum folders "save", "speedcam" and "userdata" MUST be in that place with write permissions. Also, you know all about android and your phone, that means you know where (what is partition with user R/W permisions) you have write permissions...

If you know all that, is it possible to have described the problem? What is the reason for you to place iGO's main folder at wrong place?

...hmm maybe I'm extrasense? ...or, maybe it's true that there's only one solution for your problem?
