No, it is problem with your device or gps antenna
Hello
I have a problem with igo nextgen Israel.
While driving, the GPS signal is lost for a second. The device is called NAVITEL T757. The same symptoms are on igo nextgen gift. Is this a problem with iGO Nextgen or with android 8.1.1?
My device is:
1. Android 8.1.0
2. 1280x800 2GB RAM
3. iGO Primo NextGen 9.18.27 687519
Jan 26 2017
4. Skin used: none
5. internal:IGO_Israel
No, it is problem with your device or gps antenna
The store has replaced me with another NAVITEL T757 and the problem still occurs.
Igo_Israel Nextgen has a maximum of 12 satellites, and NAVITEL Navigator showed me 20 satellites in the same place. Igo_israel loses the signal while standing in a place from 12 to 7 then 3 satellites and so over and over again. Navitel Navigator holds fix GPS.
Tablet Navitel T757 in Poland = Tablet Digma Plane 8580 4G in Russia.
Perhaps someone like that has met?
The specification informs that tablets have support for GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo.
I've tried sys.txt to put in addition:
But it was not helpful.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
Combine further or give it a rest?
Igo Primo is not compatible with android 8.1
I do not know why people think by having "show_glonass" in sys.txt it will help with GPS signal problem. That setting only show the status of GLONASS, nothing else.
As for the max 12 satellites status, you only need 4 to locked, to get 3D position. You should pay attention to the signal strength of those satellites. Use another proggy to monitor the signal strenth.
As for "Navitel holds fix GPS", different nav handled weak signal strength differently. If your unit handle weak signal strength poorly and the satellites go in and out of locking, NextGen might dropped and re-acquired. It could be a faulty GPS chip (I have a phone that does just that)

Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.
As I said, device. In principle, when the gps signal oscillates it is solely a hardware problem.
It is possible that the quality of their chip is not at an adequate level for whole series. Since it is intended for Navitel, it is also possible that the software is not as sensitive on signal changes. Or, the Navitel have some extra software fix for that.
Israel and Gift are basically same apps. Try with some other version - PAL, for example. Or start a row - then Avic, Basar, then T4A...
I tried GIft and Israel, the others do not support trucks. In both cases, it is the same.
On the navitel application it is the same but there when the signal disappears their soft does not behave unstable like iGO Nextgen.
In Navitel he writes that the navitel application uses the GPS API. Whatever it means.
Only Basar & World don't have any truck support.

I suggest you: try PAL. Or, if you don't need online services - T4A. Even Avic is OK.
I would also suggest you to certainly replace this device with some with better quality. And not with preinstaled software. But...your needs, taste and money.

I have an Asus Rog Phone 2 with the second generation of Gps (L1+L2), very fast, very strong signal etc etc ... but sometimes Nextgen loses signal for 1-2 seconds so to me the problem is Nextgen not the device
The software cannot lose the signal, only chip or antenna.
The driver that delivers the data to it may be unstable (system problem)
Some of the API layers too
Power management/restrictions are most common problem
intercommunication...
