Went through the script but didn't see a mismatch of round brackets ( ). I went through the procedure twice.

EDIT:
Never mind found it - It was the 'S' in front of 'activity'.

If you have fulfilled all the conditions of the instructions and the version of your Android is less than Android 12 Level 31, then look for the error yourself.
At Level 32 and beyond, it is forbidden to modify any autors files.
