Essential for iGO Navigator Beginners

Welcome Navigators - especially Beginners.

Sys.txt file is the control center (actions) of iGO application.
Due to the fact that the program has a hierarchical structure - sys.txt is the place where we can declare (change) settings to fix - sew other modules .

Accordingly, this brief note:
Do not blindly copy other versions sys.txt to your applications - because nothing good would result (an example can be the topic and posts in it).
Top copy sys.txt dedicated to a specific version - either apk, or device.
Basically sys.txt to run an apk. should be as small as possible - with the basic declarations for the image controller, sound, GPS, network and map view only.
The rest may be supplemented in following steps to this first one - check also if it works after subsequent amendments.

Hi I'm new here and I just got a Boss Audio system that has iGo for navigation. I just downloaded and replaced the Canada map. Wow, the file size just doubled from 99mb to 194mb. So my issue now is that the map does not even show up. I deleted Canada.fbl and replaced it with the new 2015Q2. Help please.

Here we go again. You made a rookie mistake. Always remember that you cannot just copy any map(s) on a original - none crac*ed iGO software. If you want to use different maps, you'll have to change your current iGO software with the crac*ed one, only than you'll be able to use all maps and additional files which are normally tied to the specific license files. So at this stage you have two options - first is that you revert back to the previous map (i hope you made a backup before deleting) or second - that you install cracked iGO version which will entirely replace your current one. But first of all it's all the matter of the current installation..If you have access to all iGO files and folders (including .exe) file, than shouldn't be a problem..But the problem is if you can't see original .exe file which is most common practice with the newer branded 2-din systems..

Thanks, I did make a back up. I'm going to do what you just suggested. I'll dig through the forum more for the cracked version. Thanks again.
