How to upgrade Garmin map on DNX7200

Use v2.0 (7200 is an old model and I don't know how will responce with newest basemap...)
File name: gmapbmap.img (don't forget to enable at your laptop to see file extentions)

If working perfect, maybe changed root properties o some roads from 2012.10 to 2016.10....

My biggest problem is that the store (representative Kenwood) closer to me, is at a distance of 90Km. I do not even care to spend some money.
The point is that the GPS internal system is all changed, and if I send for the original map, it can not operate.

A friend of mine who has 7200, use allways map which has made from Mapinstall and works perfect!

But maybe you don't have latest version of firmware or you did't made it with right way.....

Let me show you the right way....

I just updated a Kenwood 7200 with the newest Garmin map 2016.1.
Unlocked image does not work on Kenwood 7200,you must add a UNL file with the activation code.
You can use the Jet Mouse activator for that.

Do not forget to update the internal software to version 3.0 (just google to find that).
Only with version 3.0 Kenwood 7200 will be able to read 4GB

You can download locked images in this forum, please use the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in future. The NT version is best for your Kenwood: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [there is a locked original image for all EU in post #30]. Don't unlock it with an unlocker, leave it locked but add a JetMouse generated .unl code as said above. Also listed in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. The keygen is in Post #1 and full instructions in Post #2.

Until now (City NT 2015.40), I download original gmap for Mapsource, then unlock it with Protected Garmin file toolkit_2254_x64.exe (you unlock "tdb" file of folder gmap) to use gmap in Mapsource, after that I use Mapinstall (you must use patched Mapinstall) to make at my PC in folder "C:/Garmin/" the gmapsupp.img file of countries I want (or all Europe) and at the end I unlock that img file with Protected Garmin file toolkit_2254_x64.exe because Mapinstall make a locked gmapsupp.img

This map is working perfect at Kenwood 7200 of cource without need unl file.... Something change at City NT 2016.10 and need unl file?

Today I tried with the unlock way I said, with City NT 2016.10 and working excellent without need unl file (Kenwood 7200 with firm v3.0)
